German Section of The Theosophical Society
In 1955 President Mary Linné converted Die Theosophische Gesellschaft, Deutsche Abteilung into the organizational independent Die Theosophische Gesellschaft – Arbeitskreis Unterlengenhardt -. Mary Linné's Presidency (starting from 1955) was followed by Irmgard Scheithauer (1984) and Sieglinde Plocki (2009) as actual President. The Society rechartered in June 2013 as German Section of The Theosophical Society Point Loma - Blavatskyhouse (Die Theosophische Gesellschaft Point Loma - Blavatskyhaus - Deutsche Abteilung).
The German Section of The Theosophical Society Point Loma - Blavatskyhouse arranges monthly public lectures in Berlin as well as in Heidenheim.
"Anders Denken" and "Lebensweisheit", the two basic courses, are given by members of the German section in Berlin, Heidenheim and Geretsried. Courses start in September/October each year and run until May the following year. To register, please look at www.theosophy.de or contact Sieglinde Plocki.
Open study groups for interested people on all levels (also e.g. on Skype) possible. Contact Sieglinde Plocki to register.
An annual Summer School is organized each June and open for members and co-oworkers. For more information please contact Sieglinde Plocki.
Symposia on various subjects are held each in Berlin, Heidenheim and Geretsried preceding the start of the next study period in September/October each year.

The quarterly of the German section, Der Theosophische Pfad, is also a source of information concerning our activities in Germany. Articles on current subjects from a theosophical point of view connected with articles in the tradition of our Theosophical Society are meant to help forming a vision of a theosophical philosophy of life.

Symposium Berlin 14 september 2014
On Sunday 14 september 2014 the German section of The Theosophical Society Point Loma organizes its first symposium in Berlin. The theme of this symposium:
7 Jewels of Wisdom, a Universal Philosophy for daily life.
The working language will be German. A whole day we will exchange thoughts during lectures and workshops in the theme of the 7 Jewels: Karma, Reincarnation, Hierarchies, Self-becoming, Progressive Evolution, the Two Paths and Âtma-Vidyâ - Knowledge of the Self. Together we will discover the practical use of these teachings in our daily life.
The symposium is open for everyone interested in Theosophy. Entrance is free.
German National Section rechartered
During their 61st Convention and Summer School of 2013, on June 10th 2013, our German National Section has been rechartered.
The German Section consists today of three National Lodges in Berlin (Sûrya), Giengen a. Brenz (Padma) and Geretsried (Vîrya), they offer several Theosophical activities, public lectures, courses in Theosophy and studygroups. The German National Section of The Theosophical Society forms an integral part of the Theosophical Society Point Loma since its very beginning. It acted as an organizational independent national society from 1955 till June 2013.
